About The Plugs IO
The Plugs IO is a premium operations and growth agency. We build the systems, processes, automations, content pipelines, and brand infrastructure, that help mission-driven founders, coaches, nonprofits, and real estate professionals scale with clarity and precision.
We're not a Canva-content farm or a task-rabbit shop. We're operators, strategists, and creatives who believe design should convert, communicate, and compound. Clients come to us when duct-taped marketing stops working and clean systems are required.
Our Values — M.C.B.E.E.S.
Maintain Humility · Commit to Completion · Be Innovative · Evolve & Adapt · Elevate Others · Serve with Excellence
Role Overview
We're hiring a Graphic Designer to support client sprints, campaigns, and internal initiatives with high-quality, conversion-aware visual assets. This is an execution-heavy, fast-moving role inside our Creative Pod.
You'll work directly from project briefs assigned through Microsoft Planner, collaborate closely with Copy, Video, and the Pod VA, and be expected to ship clean, on-brand assets that require little to no rework. Your work moves through our QA Chain — and it should be ready before it gets there.
Pod Structure
The Creative Pod consists of the Pod VA, Graphic Designer, Video Editor, and Copywriter. The Pod VA coordinates task flow, tracks deadlines, and routes assets through the QA Chain. You report to the Lead Graphic Designer for creative direction and quality standards.
Primary Responsibilities
Design Execution
Design static social graphics, carousels, and branded posts (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook)
Create slide decks, PDFs, eBooks, lead magnets, and client-facing visual assets
Design thumbnails, headers, covers, and visual elements that support video and email content
Execute brand refreshes, visual systems, and brand kits when required
Interpret project briefs accurately, understanding the objective behind every asset, not just the spec
Campaign & Sprint Support
Support marketing campaigns, launches, and sprints with cohesive, deadline-ready visual assets
Ensure all assets align with campaign strategy, messaging, and conversion goals
Collaborate with the Copywriter and Video Editor to ensure visual and narrative continuity
Work with the Pod VA on task sequencing, file routing, and revision coordination
File & Asset Management
Organize working files, exports, and brand assets using The Plugs IO naming conventions
Prepare final files correctly for each platform (dimensions, resolution, export specs)
Maintain clean, editable source files for future use or revision
Save all deliverables to the correct SharePoint folder as directed by the Pod VA
Quality Assurance & Standards
Self-QA before every submission, complete the QA Chain Record, verifying alignment with the project brief, brand guidelines, file naming, and folder placement before marking work ready for review
Catch layout, spacing, hierarchy, typography, and consistency issues before they reach the reviewer
Deliver assets that meet internal "No CEO Touch" quality standards, work should be client-ready on submission
Accept and incorporate feedback with speed and without defensiveness; never repeat the same error twice
Collaboration & Communication
Receive all task assignments and feedback through Microsoft Planner and Teams
Communicate proactively about timelines, blockers, or brief clarifications, do not go silent
Coordinate with the Pod VA for all revision routing, deadline tracking, and file handoffs
Escalate priority conflicts or resource gaps to the Pod VA for PM-level resolution
AI Usage & Standards
AI tools are permitted and encouraged to support ideation, inspiration, layout exploration, and speed. They are not a replacement for design judgment, brand thinking, or conversion strategy.
Apply human creativity, brand context, and conversion intent to all AI-assisted work
Refine, elevate, and customize AI-assisted outputs to meet brand and quality standards
Never submit raw or lightly edited AI-generated designs as final deliverables
The Standard
AI is a tool here, not a crutch. Craft, clarity, and conversion always come first.
Must Haves
2+ years of graphic design experience (agency or brand preferred)
Strong understanding of design for conversion, not just aesthetics
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop; InDesign a plus)
Comfortable using Canva for templated or collaborative work when required
Strong organizational habits and meticulous attention to detail
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, sprint-based environment without sacrificing quality
Clear, professional communication, written and verbal
Demonstrated ability to follow briefs precisely and ask smart clarifying questions when needed
Nice to Haves
Experience designing for LinkedIn-heavy or thought leadership brands
Familiarity with motion graphics or simple animation
Understanding of marketing funnels, CTAs, and user flow
Experience working inside sprint-based or agency environments
What This Role Is Not
Clarity on Scope
This is not a brand strategist role. Not a social media manager position. Not a junior "make it pretty" seat. This is a professional execution role with real accountability inside a structured Creative Pod. You will be expected to work from briefs, hit deadlines, QA your own work, and operate with ownership from day one.
